They do have signature required actually, and I had released it to be left on my doorstep, which I was going to pick up shortly thereafter. Which didn’t happen of course.
Welp, there is a good ending to this. Long story short, I believe that the person that it was mistakenly delivered to, brought it to my place and left it yesterday. I had found out from the DHL customer service that it had been delivered relatively close to where I live. They said they would recover it and it would take a few days to redeliver, and they would take a new picture of the delivery. Well, there was no new picture of the proof of delivery, so thats why I believe that person that got my package delivered it. Lucky for DHL, and glad I lucked out. Not quite sure if I will go the DHL route next time.
Good idea to have it left at a UPS, but you would have to do that at the beginning of the order with Thomann, since I was unable to change the delivery in past orders while it was en route.
