Attic Studio
Hey there,
I have a question about my little attic studio I'm building. I don't know if this is the right section for this, but here it goes.
What I want to use this studio for is to write/record anything except drums/loud amp. The aim is to write together with different artists here and, as I've done in the past, help them get a full production together as a multi instrumentalist myself.
What I'm struggling with is inputs/preamps/converters. Right now I have a simple SSL 2+ connected since I'm mostly recording one thing at a time. But it's just spaghetti of things that are being plugged in and out every time. And when creativity flows speed is the key.
So question I want to ask is what direction do you think I should take, should I load my desk up with a bunch of different pre amps (500) and a nice converter. Or is there a more economical way to deal with different equipment being plugged in all the time ready to press record?
I would love to hear from you.
Best regards,
Steve
