Daytona Beach, FLORIDA - AudioScape announces the soon-to-be-released LA-76 Stereo Optical Compressor Colour Module. AudioScape, renowned for their more-real-than-recreated versions of coveted vintage audio hardware, has produced a unique expansion module, called a Colour Module, made exclusively for use in Louder Than Liftoff’s SIlver Bullet MK2. Various Colour Modules are available from LTL, and other third-party developers, and are effortlessly mounted inside the SIlver Bullet MK2, offering an array of easy-to-swap tonal options.

AudioScape’s stereo LA-76 is a satisfying fusion of two classic compressors: the LA-4 and the Rev F 1176. It features an optimized LA-4-style optical compressor topology, with updated componentry and higher slew rates compared to the original, coupled with the 1176 Rev F’s all-discrete, push-pull topology line amp, one of Bill Putnam’s most enduring designs. This AS original will bring punch, energy and life to any track it touches.

It’s a snap adding the LA-76 to any Silver Bullet MK2, simply drop the module into the SB MK2 Expansion Slot, and it’s ready to impart its unique vintage colour.
