Setting Distressor for INXS sound

I would like to effect my guitar in my DAW to sound similar to the strummed guitar that you can hear in the song: Need You Tonight by INXS.

Could you give some advices about how to set up Distressor to make that sound? I know the compressor is not the only effect that is needed, but I guess it is a heavily compressed sound, so having it compressed properly is one key element I am sure.

Are you able to record what you have so far and post an example?

Also, listening to the beginning, it seems there are two different strummed guitars (followed by a single note-picked guitar as well): the first guitar sounds distant mic’ed and the second is close mic’ed and more present.
