Trigger Drum Samples Live thru Audio

I have Slate Trigger 2 with few extra libraries that I bought, is there a way to use it live ? or the only way is dedicated drum triggers ?

The software responds to midi, so I'm not sure I understand what the issue might be. Lots of different ways to trigger midi live: drum pad, keyboard controller, etc.

I meant how the samples ( snare and kick ) be blend-in with a live drum set.

in the studio, I just put slate tigger on snare and kick audio tracks, with my samples and blend them in.

but how is this done live ?

i'm still using the old klark dn-510 as drum-to-midi converter...

...but roland and ddrum for sure have something more current where you can plug in your trigger mics.

Have used Trigger in the studio, not live yet. Some thoughts:

You need consistent trigger-signals. Crosstalk is your enemy. In the studio I'm using mic-signals from the tracks as signal for Trigger - wouldn't rely on that live. You should rather use piezo-triggers attached to the drums to trigger the samples for consistency.
You need low latency. In the studio the plugin can "pre-view" the signal. In a live-context you'd need very low latency sound-processing (which is not easy when using Trigger as a plugin on a PC-based host).
If you combine trigger with acoustic signals you need to care about phase (not only polarity) to glue both together
