Anyone got any fun band/alias names that they didn't get to use but wish they had? Let's hear 'em!

Starting out:

Anal Clog - My first band came dangerously close to using this name. I loved it for all the funny puns that come with a name like that. We would always have to headline because no one would a marquee to read "Anal Clog opening up for KoRn!" Album names in particular were going to be a blast with classics like "Anal Clog Unplugged" and "What's the Beef With Anal Clog?"

The Prune Brothers - Named after a magical internet video, but it only works if it's a duo.

The was a period where we changed our name to Prince.

A friend of mine wanted to do an industrial project called Reverse Gynecology. Only problem was, none of us played anything.

Was thinking of using the band name Talentless Hoarders but it was already taken

Similarly, I kind of always wanted to work on something and call it Talentless Hack.

Back in the 90's when I was playing in bands I tried to start a band called Sycho Lowrider's..

Think the other one that was batted around was Dusted Gangbangers or something..LOL!!

Free beer

there is a band in romania called bere gratis which literally translates to free beer. they thought it was a good name to use as it would bring people to their gigs. they did get mildly successful (though the music was mostly garbage)

Jello Biafra did a whole track on potential band names ..

Obadiah Bobbleknob and The Mucus Eaters might still get an outing....

"Tacos and Indians" - I had a horribly racist cartoon drawn in the 70's for the album cover.

Dukes of Hazmat. But the music did not fit the name.

Back in the early 2000s, we used the name The VDN (aka the Virus Distribution Network) for an industrial music project that never really got off the ground. At the time the reference was to computer viruses. It would have a whole new meaning today and all of our songs would be back at the top of the charts. Oh the missed opportunities.

Slightly off topic. Locally in a pub was a band asking for a support band. They were called "The Thieving Bastards" - So here's the question, taken it was a smallish bar/pub in a small town, would you offer your services?

There is probably a fine line between being risque and wrong. Bit like at age 20 showing your mum your penis saying "look mum, you handled this all the time when I was a little boy" is that risque or dodgy? That was silly.

i like 'Total Carnage'.

I always thought that "Fossil Assault" (which is a fictional band from the game Grand Theft Auto 2 with ****ty hard rock music) would be a great name for a band composed entirely of grumpy old sods rocking out with songs about outrageous exaggerations of care home life ("The new-fangled genre of Geriatric Rock").

Of course I came up with that before grumpy old sods (like the Rolling Stones) getting back on stage and rocking out became a generally accepted thing...

Some day I will start a band called Post No Bills. It's going to make flyering for gigs a lot easier.
