Need to discover, and compare, maybe hear samples and get impressions from clients, about services in the greater Seattle area. I realize all this can be done long distance but I like to do things locally. We will need stem mastering for a DIY album project in about 6 months, and hoping for a good match. How to proceed? Googling brings several options, but probably leaves out many great people and just gives names with no real way to evaluate.
I’ve looked for other forums as well that may be relevant but found nothing.

I've made a spreadsheet of most studios in Seattle I could find online- just with a link and some personal first impressions. I planned on moving out there a few years ago and made it in preparation, although didn't end up moving so might as well put it to good use. As it has my personal impressions on it, I'd feel best DMing it to you, so would you mind DMing me if you're interested in using it? It's just a Google Doc I can link you to. Just don't want to misrepresent the wonderful local Seattle studios by putting it up in public here if that makes sense.
