Is the Grace Design m904 still a good choice in 2025?

Hey guys,

I'm in need of a new monitor controller. Right now I'm using the Dangerous Music Source which I love.

Was eyeing the Dbox+ but it's really expensive.
Then I came across a couple of offers for used Grace Designs m904.
I understand the m905 is the newer version but I hope the m904 is still good enough. I like the form factor of the remote and I'm also interested in the conversion compared to my Dangerous Source. So if any of you have experience with both/similar units, I'd love for you to chime in.

The Grace (as well as the Avocet) is a great unit.. that’s why you see it in several good rooms.

I’d add theat the 2400 Imperium NG should be an option too, quite inexpensive, passive, excellent quality, and if you can leave with its features, you might have a winner.
You can controll it with a tablet too.. including adjusting custom levels.

Thanks for chiming in @ cheu78 !
Heard about 2400audio‘s imperium before but it slipped my mind since I focused on having conversion onboard.
Love the connectivity of my Source so maybe simply adding the imperium is the way to go.
What is your current monitor path, if you don’t mind me asking?
