Faylon ST90 speaker for Vox AC30 head

Hello,

I have an old ST90 Faylon speaker (8 ohms) and would like to buy a Vox AC30 head (with two speaker outputs, amp is switchable between 8 and 16 ohms).
Can I make this combination?
Should I watch out for impedance issues?
Is only one speaker allowed in a two speaker output amp?

Never heard of a "Faylon" speaker, but it doesn't matter if the speaker can take the power. The only things that matter is matching the impedance of the total load to the output of the amp - if the amp wants to see 8 ohms it doesn't matter if it's one 8 ohm speaker, 2x16ohm speakers wired in parallel or 2x4 ohm speakers wired in series.

I think that's an 8Ω cabinet, so should be fine. There's a plate on the back that tells you.
Faylon was based outside of Brussels and was used by Dutch band Golden Earring. They shut down in 1977 after Fenders became cheaper and more accessible as I hear it.

mine = 16 Ω Z , yeah oldschool sound, very vintage ... i was told it were PA speakers
but i too use em on guitar, bass, ... usually just with an old tube ampli
