The very same.
That and the directivity that makes woofer fight themselves contributes greatly to increased thd.
THD is insane on Kii’s i’m not sure why people say they’re great for mastering.
My Focal Trios have 40-50dB lower THD at same SPL.

Separate DA converters and amps for multiple speakers and a microprocessor running DSP code to manage everything to keep it in check.
This new series have many more digital connectivity options than the older series. Probably because the competition also have it.
Sure, the markup will be considerable. But if you add up the parts and R&D costs it will be similar to other competitors in this price range.
SVS subs also employ DSP.
Hypex 1100w full DSP with adat/spdif/aes costs about 700€ incl tax off the shelf.
I suspect they’re peddling to the audiphile/hifi market.
Focal Utopias without amps and same tech as their pro series cost 4x more.
Speakers in the price bracket - focal, dynaudio, genelec, adam all use in-house designed drivers. Most have DSP.
I don’t like DSP anyway, for 8000€ i’d get a pair of Focal Solos and 6000€ worth of acoustic treatment and it would be better than Kiis and flatter response.
Wider dispersion speakers have much wider sweet spot as well and are more comfortable to work with in a good room
