Need help ID'ing 80's drum machine

I'm trying to track down what drum machine was used on these R&B tracks done in the late 80's.

Is it an Oberhiem DMX, Linn9000, or other?

Here are songs where it was used. The sounds are very prominent/distinct.

I figured that was a DMX, but the tom sounds threw me. And I think you're right, those toms are probably simmons.
