I'm wondering how common it is for you to use a bit of stereo widening in Mastering, and which plug-ins you chose for that task. Also are there occasions when mixes seem to wide and your narrow the stereo field.
I'm also curious if you ever add reverb in mastering.
My mastering console is a MASELEC MTC1, has a fantastic elliptical filter and stereo width control, thats how keep under control my M/S from the start of my process.
I dont normally use reverb on my masters.
