I actually just got my PX mainboard back from Sequential, for a headphone repair. The headphone out died and began making an awful noise that sounded like super over-the-top USB bus noise. Got the motherboard and PSU replaced while at it. So, it's possible the headphone chip on your unit may be faulty. I don't notice a lot of extra noise vs the main outs on mine.
Thanks, hopefully itβs not β my hearing is pretty sensitive and those headphones are revealing. Itβs high pitched and does sound slightly like USB noise but itβs very quiet, only noticed using it at night in a quiet environment.
At any rate I got my audio interface hooked up now and the main outs are solid so Iβll live with it for now, my PX is brand new (so youβd hope most hardware issues would be ironed out.
I have to say I really do like it, I made a pretty useful score for a track a friend needs last night, I was a little premature complaining about samples because some of them are really good. Very happy with the PX overall
